The show will feature expert speakers Randy Lemmon, host of KTRH 740’s GardenLine show; and Brenda Beust Smith, author of the Houston Chronicle’s “The Lazy Gardner” blog and recipient of numerous journalism awards. Smith will give a presentation on “Restoring Your Winter-Ravaged Garden” and also will be available in the Ask-the-expert corner for one-on-one consultations. Lemmon will broadcast live from the home show. He will also be introducing his latest book, 1001 GardenLine Questions with Randy Lemmon, and will have book signings at 10am to 10:30am and 11:30am to 1:00pm, Saturday and Sunday. "These speakers are true experts in gardening, and we are honored to have them at the event,” Wood said. “We are also pleased to announce that David Williamson, a Texas Master Certified Nurseryman from RCW Nurseries, will be at his booth to offer his expertise.”

As you enter the main arena at the Berry Center you'll be greeted by a beautiful outdoor area created by Stewart Land Designs (booth #400), a complete design and building company for outdoor living.'

The Pool Man will provide more options for the creation of a backyard resort. Check them out in booth # 100. The company provides custom pool designs, as well as maintenance programs that give their clients more time to enjoy their pools.

Houston Mosquito Control Systems will have a booth demonstrating methods to eliminate the pests from outdoor living spaces. The company offers automated misting systems. “They are eco-friendly since we use green products,” the company’s owner, George Tunal, explained. Tunal said he will make a special offer to anyone who signs up for the system at the show – one free year of refills for a standard system, valued at $750. “We’re looking forward to the Cy-Fair Home and Garden Show,” Tunal said. “It’s always a great event.”
